Interestingly when I upgrade the app using the update command in the command bar, the new version loads without the last config.
1) Does it load a different config?
2) What if you update using Help | Online Support | Check for Updates?

Sorry for the delay, I needed to wait for a new update to be available...
1. I think it loads the "default" profile in my case in the user profile directory \AppDatat\Roaming\XYPlorer64
2. Same result...

Just tried it (using Help | Online Support | Check for Update) and it worked perfectly.

OK thinking about this, I expect this is because I am using a command line option on my shortcut to select my config location, which brings me back to the original message. As I understand the issue at present the only way of setting XY to load a particular config, other than the default directory, is using /INI. Is that right?

Well, all this thread was about Load Configuration. Now you come with command line? That's a whole different story.

Well! In my mind once a configuration is loaded, running an update should preserve the current configuation, but that's just my view!

The original command line string is not preserved during the self-update. Technically this could be solved, but currently it's not.
