I know it is already ticked, if you'll notice in my post you just quoted, I posted it to be unticked, unsuprisingly it has 2 states.

Yes. I saw the brackets and foolishly thought you were implying it should be ticked. It has now been unticked and this issue is resolved.

If I remember correctly, this is not the first time I've awarded you a gold star for resolving one of my issues. Thanks very much, jupe.

That's a double-bingo. Issue resolved.

Now, back to the original issue of MDBU not being as sharp as a info panel preview, but only with PDFs.

I don't know, I've been using PDF-XChange for > 10 years and it was and still is crystal clear. Maybe they dumbed it down in the latest paid version (I use the freeware)?

Is a free version still available? It doesn't look like it from their website. It shows on their product comparison chart, but when clicking it, it goes to the paid version.

Thanks Don. I will grab Viewer and see if that makes any difference.

I completely uninstalled the paid Editor version and installed the freeware version (2.5.322.10) and still get the same result.

Unless someone else comes up with an idea or suggestion, I'm walking away from it for a while.

Thanks.

EDIT: Typo

It would appear no one else is seeing this behavior.

MDBU is so damn convenient that I'd really like to get this resolved.

Feel free to send me one of those blurry PDFs. Maybe there's a low-res embedded thumbnail in it (I've never heard of this in PDF, but you never know).
