Habitually. If there is a right-click menu for the section/parts besides it, people are likely to think there is right-click functionality for the tab headers also. Even though they might expect a menu instead of it toggling instantly, that there is functionality with visible feedback will make it more self-explanatory. I would have never thought to right-click the tabs with there not being other right-click functionality besides it (and I definitely right-clicked the section before, even more so when I had the incorrect crop and wasn't aware of the buttons).

OK. By the way, looking at the code I found this functionality I totally was not aware of myself, but it still works:

Code: Select all

v5.00.0012 - 2006-06-01 12:46
+ Panel/Find Files: now you can toggle the find filters by holding
CTRL while clicking the filters' tab headers.

Make it 3 haha
I have got a 1080p monitor at 125% scale. Every time I want to use to IP, I have to maximize XYplorer window. Wide IP would block the bottom half of the tree. If I make the window larger, it takes some extra space which does not leave enough room for anything else. I will give some example:

This is the size that I am comfortable with:
31.jpg
31.jpg (212.48 KiB) Viewed 551 times
With this size, I can work with other programs in the background.

This is the minimal size that I need for IP to fully show up:
2.jpg
2.jpg (236.51 KiB) Viewed 556 times
This size leave not enough room for anything else so I might as well maximize it.

Most other programs I use would either squeeze the content in or give the user a scroll bar, straight-up cropping content out of sight seems counter intuitive. I'll admit it is kinda nit-picky, so just putting it out as my 2 cents. Overall I am a happy customer with XYplorer for the last 6 month or so, wish I have discovered it earlier.
