Re browser: In my case, I limit my use of Opera to IRC and another site related to that particular chat...I am limited to nothing later than IE6 due to my OS (W2K)...and as stated, FF doesn't yet satisfy my needs...so updating browser is not really an option, at least for me.

Re Imageshack/PB: Imageshack showed me such a large amount of graphics/ads on left side that I couldn't see screenshot without scrolling whereas PB which has an ad, but to the extreme right and thus mostly off my screen...I've not gotten any pop-up's from PB but have from ImgShk.

Hopefully the feedback that you're gotten via the forum helped make you more inclined to make the purchase? Even though sometimes we don't always agree...

Well I always buy what I will use for long, but it made me confident this is a wise choice !
I have to admit the lack of undo (at least undo one op.) is my only real problem here.. Too dangerous for a work use, but it is intended too, so.. I don't know

Don't care if we don't agree on everything, the sum of different opinions makes the choices wiser for the dev, so it's good for both sides

I've been using XY for a bit over 3 yrs and only about 2-3 times can I recall that I absolutely screwed up unough so that a undo would have saved me...and in one case, I resorted to a separate file-recovery appl (Recuva, for ex)...there were more times when it would have made recovery simpler or easier, but via backups and such, I was able to get back on track...and if you don't have at least 3 copies, you don't have backup!

I use the Recycle bin and only delete things from it on one-by-one basis vs the generic "Empty" so I keep a few things longer than others...and with the preview on rename, for ex, I'm pretty sure that I'll get what I want...yes, it's one more step, but safer!

Maybe it was because of my background in corporate mainframe IT years ago where we only had daily backups, if that, so you could easily lose a days work or more of coding/etc without any chance of recovery that taught me to be absolutely sure that I didn't act in haste?

you're right I should not be worried too much if I have good habits..
still, I use(d) this function like once a week, and it's also more work when it's not there, even if it's not dangerous
anyway it's on the roadmap right, I'll just have to wait it's done, just hope it will be before my future license can't upgrade anymore

Don't make the mistake of not buying a lifetime license! You'll soon regret it as others have! You've got the trial period to come up with the money and you've already seen how often updates occur, so given the current lower price, just buy the lifetime!

And don't look at the history of 7.90 and think "Hey, he's dangling around 7.90 forever -- 8.90 will never be reached!" -- this is an exception because I want to join Dual Pane with 8.00, but somehow I keep having ideas that I cannot stop me to implement immediately.

Sure guys I understand, and I saw the support and the upgrades, that's really nice..
I just think that 20€ is already a lot of money (well depends on people I guess).

Too bad you don't get thousands of registered users, I agree and as a potential developer myself I feel bad about this, really
