It has nothing to do with the amount of information you're presenting. It's that you don't break up the paragraphs. What you've written may be helpful, but it's difficult to read due to the way you lay it out.

Thx for sharing your thought. IMHO, it really has to do with both.

If someone thirsty asks for a cup of water and you hand him a big barrel of water instead and get upset if he doesn't drink the barrel empty ... it also misses the point of helping.

If the amount of water in the barrel was at least distributed into glasses or bottles of varying sizes, maybe with different flavors and labeled (subheadings!) and the drinker was allowed to choose which of these he wants to drink, when and how quickly then that would be extremely helpful.

The effectiveness of something is affected by many factors.
