If it changed the order, then there was an issue within the DB, but it still might not be the root cause of your reported problem. Regarding the file size change, the script just doesn't save the file as Unicode unless it needs too, but when XY saves it again next time, it'll return to its normal size.

Thanks. I tested your exact setup: No problems. No tags lost. So I assume jupe is right: There was an issue within the DB.
