Did you try using Tahoma for both interface and dialogs?
I do like MS Sans Serif, but Tahoma looks better when ClearType is enabled.

- Configuration
- Customize Keyboard Shortcuts
- Customize Toolbar
- Tip of the day
use Dialog Font. They are dialogs, right!?

"Interface Font" should be renamed to make this clearer! What about "Main Window Font"?
I think I like those changes, and "Interface Font" better than "Main Window Font"....

Donald, thanks for the recent changes you made.

However there is still no way to configure font in "Preview" and "Raw View", besides font size selection.
Could you please consider adding font setting for those panels too? You know, I really hate courier! :)

I did not do it because it must be a monospace font. Else the whole layout crashes. So I won't give you the freedom to choose to save your soul. :)

Question: Is the existing font the only monospace font that is commonly available on user systems? If not, then allowing user to change it with an appropriate warning (in Help file, plus wiki) as to what will happen if wrong font picked should suffice. As I presume there isn't a way to limit the font choices on dialog to a selected handful?

Addendum: Besides, you can't protect the user from everything they could do to screw things up!

Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Sounds to me like it would be a perfect option for an INI Tweak. :P

Actually, I've seem this in several text editors so it is possible to limit a users choice to installed monospace fonts only.

Yes, indeed. I found the way (but will add later...).
