:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

:info: When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

I cannot name files and folders and I cannot Find Files based on Name and Content. This is a significant limitation.
So back to my question: status & plans for Unicode support?
Thx,

Yep, I agree. I will add that in future. Can't say when. Some other things will come first.

Just so it gets more brain space with Don, I'd love to have full unicode support so I can rename Chinese files (we do a Chinese magazine and thus have a fair amount of exposure with Chinese file names). I was showing XY to the boss and he tried to rename a Chinese file and it just got rid of the Chinese and he said "Explorer works..." - bah they always pick up on the one little worse thing and not the 10zillion better things :(
Used to update to the latest beta every day. Now I have children instead…

Unicode Support - and the competition...

Now that OD 9 has come some distance (tabs, breadcrumbs, stick-installation), it's Unicode advantage is even more pronounced.
Just a one man's opinion.
