I was thinking that also...actually, I was wondering if the completed tutorials could be made a separate "section" (or whatever term is correct) within the wiki, so that it could more easily be found by newbies...though having it where it is now has advantages of being more places that Google will find hits on XY, but it could be in both places...
Yes, I think XYWiki is a good place for the tutorials :-) More people can edit the tutorials thus making them better ;-)
I will continue the tutorials on my blog, feel free to take them to the XYwiki.

I would rather not have two parallel versions -- it's always double work and double trouble. A
link from the wiki to the tutorial should serve all purposes.

Well, this is right now maybe the best alternative...

But, as always comments are welcome, so I can make it better, but anyway feel free to use some screenshots in the XYWiki.

I'll add a link from my support page -- should give you some more traffic...
EDIT: uh, what is the main/start/cover page of the Tutorial? This one?

Another little thing: in "An example from the XYwiki how the Classic directory dump style can look like." your HTML software used "—" (& #8212; ) instead of the normal minus-character. As a result the lines are printed to short. It should look like this:
Code: Select all
========================================================================
D:\www\xyplorer.com\code\
------------------------------------------------------------------------
download <DIR> 16.08.2007 09:51:25
download.OldVersions <DIR> 14.08.2007 09:46:29
images <DIR> 14.08.2007 11:11:56
...

Not, much really...

I will make it better, and more comprehensive.
(Unfortunately, I haven't got the time the last weeks to do so much updates... )
But, I 'll hope to get some time this weekend to update it, and add more chapters...

Well, I'm not surprised. This has nothing to do with not being good enough! Publicity needs a little time (unless you show your tits in TV at prime time). September is promotion time... I'm working on it.

It's good, it's very good. The only problem with it is that it didn't exist when I first joined the XYuniverse
Good job Ugus!
