Would you triple the size of folders '# and text' and
double the size files

I would also switch the YES and NO to NO and YES (less chance to click the wrong one.)
Source and target - You need all the space available - start at the far left and place the labels above the string - & double space between the two.
In the US we use the , and . 'incorrectly' but it is what we expect. (Trump may make this better :-))

Whatever we do - we should have as few places , screens etc. to do a certain task. I know this is completely the opposite thinking at M$oft.

Can I assume this same screen will be used for all move, copy and delete functions?

I have custom copy on but somehow can't find the 'confirmations' in the F9 menu - I know it is there and that I unchecked it.
Has it moved in the ver 17.00.01???

As you suggested - I turned the "Confirm copy and move operations".
I DON'T LIKE IT - do not need it for regular drag and drop because I would always do far fewer files and less chance of doing damage.

What is the difference with that item just above labeled "Confirm drag and drop"???? I got that with the above?



The Shift+F7 is almost as important as "Paper Folders" and may involve say 100 or more items - and the CONFIRMATION SCREEN IS NEEDED!

What you proposed was on the right track - could incorporate that with the current Shift F7 screen please. You could double the screen size or make it adjustable.

Shift+F7 is covered by "Confirm copy and move operations".
Drag and drop (left button) is covered by "Confirm drag and drop".

what pat's saying is that
1) Confirm copy and move operations pops up the confirmation regardless of Confirm drag and drop.

1) Don't understand.
2) Well, no place.

Even if Confirm drag and drop is disabled, having Confirm copy and move operations enabled still shows a confirmation before drag-drop.
In other words, Confirm copy and move operations should not show confirmations before drag-drops. This should be controlled by Confirm drag and drop alone.

Hey Don, especially consider this for the delete confirmation.

Why? This sequence is Windows standard.

Delete by accident becomes too easy. Put the initial focus to "No" at least?

The user triggered the action. IMO it's only polite to assume that he/she intended to do this.

Please remember that this whole set of messages started with "needing a warning if folders are being moved."
The idea with prompt needing stats is an excellent idea, that I think, you and Sammay deserve the credit for.

Sammay made some good comments and I hope you will implement it. Apparently all the data is readily available.
Having all the stats on a single screen with prompt makes good sense to me.
