That's a good choice also!

IMHO, I'd say definitely yes...cause if I select a folder via catalog or tree, and initial top display items are folders, I'd use this new 'switch focus' to get down to first file, so having focus thus be on list makes perfect sense as I'm likely wanting to do something on these list items..

Code: Select all

+ CKS: new "Miscellaneous" command "Switch Focus between Files and
Folders". Description: In the List, if a folder is focused move the
focus to the first file from top, and vice versa. And focus the
      List if not focused anyway.
Awesome, thanks again for this, I love it! :D So much better now to only have one (or two) clicks to do than manually scrolling all the way!

BTW: you know how on other categories for CKS you have "subcategories", so commands within a submenu are indented. Well you should consider doing the same thing for Misc I think, cause right now commands are "groupped" by function (eg. all collapse/expand, all center/max/min window, etc) which is good, but also makes it harder to find what you're looking for as they're not sorted (alpha).
So having some "subcategories" for those groups, and alpha. order for the "real" commands might be a good idea IMHO

For people like me (touchpad'er), it would be very helpful if this "Switch focus" could be added to some menu or sub-menu so that it can be done without keyboard!

And this does not mean the context menu, at least for me, since it uses a right-click which requires the buttons...I'm referring to the main set of menus...and as stated, a sub-menu entry would be fine!

Might be coming, as Don talked about about submenus "Misc" & "Custom"...

 Even though my reply was last in that other thread, I'd forgotten about it! Guess I've been doing too many things in last week that distracted me.
