Sounds fine with me...I very rarely pull up that window.

Right-clicking an empty area of the tree view still pops up the menu on the wrong monitor.

No, unless you use the iPopupFullFavMenu tweak.
Are you saying I should change it? I changed it from 0 to 1 and it didn't seem to make any difference, it still pops up on monitor 1.

Do you have any Favorite Folders set?? If not, I think that flag doesn't matter, either way you get the full Favorites menu.
But if you have Favorite Folders set, and iPopupFullFavMenu=0 then the menu (only the list of Favorite Folders) will pop up on the right monitor!

Yup, I should read the source code more carefully
I just changed it: now, IF you have no Favorite Folders set AND iPopupFullFavMenu=0 THEN the Special System Folders menu is popped up (on the right monitor!).

Code: Select all
+ Menu Help | About: window now throws shadow -- the sun is shining!
BTW not sure if it's intended or not, but I do get a shadow on your About window now.
Oh yeah and, once I opened that window, all others XY windows are shadowed as well (Go to, VF, LM, Catalog Item Properties, etc). But since I installed a new version I checked: there is no shadow anywhere untill I actually open the About window.
Not that I care, actually shadow everywhere looks good, just thought I'd mention it

The About shadow is intended, the others not. Spooky -- I just removed them (because they were not stable -- even more spooky -- but vanished when you clicked or moved the window). Thanks.

6.00.0003 - about box still appears on monitor 1...
TBH, this one *really* doesn't matter, just thought you should know
Windows XP SP2, IE7 installed, ATI Catalyst 7.4 graphics drivers (although 7.2 and 7.3 also exhibited this behaviour).

Indeed. I hereby offically allow the About Window to appear on the wrong monitor.
