guess I'd have to try it out more thoroughly, my half-hearted test run messed up the digital copyright that was embedded with steganography, but it might be OK when using Digimarc. Or any kind of watermark does not rely on x-y coordinates to de-code invisible information.
I've never come across anything that would not read EXIF orientation tags, so it's not really all that important to me personally. Thanks for filling me in, anyway
