More importantly, it can easily be done with the Windows API, which is apparently what Don utilizes more than vb6 itself.

No, I don't think so.
In contrast to the "elevation" challenge we've asking for and discussing serveral times so far - it's still the
auto-part to master - it's "ridiculously easy", I envision Don is saying. It should be "just" plain, imperative programing.
Btw, for me, it would mean a very helpful addition for daily work.
