Virtually everything XY does is done through the Windows API. VB is just the glue.
Who would have thought VB could be such an efficacious cyanoacrylate!...is just the glue.
As for API, the probability is high that most users really don't care if the source is written in cuneiform on moist clay so long as the complied object file executes properly.
