My vote's on not hardcoding it.
kunkel, ABpath is addressbar path. This tweak will hide the last slash in paths there. C:\path\ versus C:\path

Sounds a bit like a scary movie - Address Bar got slashed in the end
How about: ... ends ON a slash (backslash)?
