Well, i was doing this little video

and i begin to guess what doesen't works well :

this line :
*\Images*|*\Pics*|*\DCIM* ||!*.lrv;*.thm
doesen't render the inverted filter.

this line with hardcoded folder works fine with the inverted filter
R:\DCIM\||!*.lrv;*.thm
...
Oooooh : after some tries and copying pasting, i made this line :
*\Images*|*\Pics*|*\DCIM*|*\photos*| ||!*.lrv;*.thm

having always to end a folder definition with the " | ", before defining the filters.


But... welll, but.... a problem !

Now : all my folder, even default folder, if filtered with the ||!*.lrv;*.thm
i don't want that.
Could you make that a new tick : "filters options" to be saved part of folder view settings ?


i use the bottom display of XY to have a quick look quicly at the free space available,
but when filtered, this info is nowhere available.
So that i would like filterings when taking out photos / videos from SD card... but only there, not for all folders.
Then, now : there is no way to backward, trying to save without filter, but in next XY open, all is now filtered !

So i prefer to use my backup of FVS and .INI and loose the new filtering option.

Is that a question?

Well , i would like to have "filters options" saved part of folder view settings.

Untill now, it seams to me that filters options are saved on or off, for all the XY session.

Thank you if you could do something for that.
( a new option, in the folder view dialog, in "applyed parameters" )

Too complex for now. Maybe in FVSVF 2.0.

you did repaired the behavior of filter settings, they are now saved with each folder views settings.

Hm, if that's what you meant with "filters options" , yes. I thought you meant this stuff:

Configuration | Find Files & Branch View | Visual Filters | Persist visual filters across folders
etc.

Anyway, this is the next big feature, coming out officially with v13.40. A killer feature IMO!
