Cool. To me they sound totally okay.

Luckily we have very few trolls and spammers here, and usually you recognize them in a second. It takes me around 4 seconds to delete one, so that's no problem for me. Just point me to them...

I just wanted to define my borders and see if we can agree to some basics. (And maybe have a source to link/refer to)
Same for me! So instead of calling these 'rules', maybe we'll use 'guidelines'?

Couple of comments on them:
1) I think that allowing 2-3 questions in one thread is ok, IF they relate to same topic/issue or have some commonality...it's the user's first post here with lists of 10+ items that bugs me
2) Keeping images so they fit on smaller (1024x768 or such) display helps other users with older systems so I'd maybe have that or next step up as suggested max size -- it's the HUGE ones that make it hard for me to read.
3) Another thing that I find irritating: People who put lots of blank space after post via sig block and/or have large sig's with their name (esp when it's identical or close to user ID!)...I've PM'd a few over the years with informal requests to condense it and most all have...the more stuff via sig block, the less nbr of posts I can see on screen at one time.

I think having these as a Sticky somewhere here would be good as most forums have done.

Addendum: I think the real benefit to the forum and XY community by having us as extra mods will be when Don is unavailable such as holiday/vacation or away from computer (like while sleeping) so that we can keep forum tidy if needed.

Also
to give a rest, to all the mods specially J_C, a comment on the "110 suggestion or must have" on first post
