Sounds great Don thanks. Do you have any future plans on enabling the use of some of these property commands in Visual Filters as well? Obviously I can use them in the "selection" image files (since I finished modifying a 16:9, 8:5, 4:3, 3:2 selection script and it works great), but I figured they don't work for actual visual filtering in scripting for specific aspect ratio or other property values at this point? Thanks again.

Yeah, that can be done at some point in future.

You're right... I had only checked this in my "Exports" (jpg) folder.
Digging a little deeper brought up the... ugly truth.
- I must say I never use [Large] Tiles View (I'd need a "tags" line to make it useful for me ), so at first I thought it was broken because it was missing a line when I browsed through my pics folders — before I realized it was because I've RAW files that are not very talkative (under WinXP)...
- I found an ooold folder with unprocessed jpegs, and indeed, they appear as 4:3 whether they're in portrait or landscape.

That being said, I'm a bit sorry to add that I don't feel really concerned by this (as of now), doing all image work in different editors. So, out of curiosity, what is the gain of seeing "by numbers" that an image is in portrait mode? Especially when it can be gathered and used by a script...

EDIT: Though I would understand the usefulness of an aspect ratio Color Filter.

Hey Flux, No's really not a big deal seeing the aspect ratio displayed as 3:4 instead of 4:3 because it's quite obvious what it really is. I wasn't using the new "large" tiles much either until recently...I wish the large tiles were a bit larger though.

No, I actually was more concerned about using property("#AspectRatio",<curitem>) in a script where I want to properly select all photos with an aspect ratio of 16x9 or 4x3 for example, and I obviously don't want to include those that are 9x16 or 3x4. In another script I crop photos to a particular aspect ratio. It's even more important in that case. I found out that I can easily flip flop the "aspect ratio" if the photo has an "orientation" that is rotated.
