Yup, I concur with that! There are a couple of English 'oddities' that I'll try and fix when I can, as I've done now and then on other pages, but it's still a
great page!

Well, I'll have to also admit that in a couple of places, I reworded it a bit to hopefully make it more clear, and/or eliminate some redundancy or extra words.

Thanks! There are a few sections/paragraphs on that TOTD page that I've not yet tweaked/'English-ized' as I hope to, so check back in a few days...

FYI: Based on some PM's between jacky and me, there are some layout changes to the main page of the wiki...we: moved the Search box under the logo to make it easier to access; combined the Introduction text and Interface text in the Intro page; created a new Interface section that has direct links to Menu/Tree/List/etc pages...
I was finding that having to click on Interface page to get to the Menu link was extra overhead, so now you can go from main page directly...and that, to see the search box, I had to page down, so now it's right there.
Hope others agree this minor format change was an improvement!

The "The different parts of XYplorer" section could use a clickable screenshot (image map)... is that possible with MediaWiki?

When I search "Tip of the
day" it won't find the page "Tip of the
Day".
Can this be made case-independent?

Imagemap: no, not possible natively. I'll look into adding an extension to support it....
Search: I'm not sure, I'll see if it's a setting or can be altered with an extension too

Like the one on the XY Product page? Yes, so that is done dynamically but a fixed one created via a pix editor that looks similar...
If we used this, then a numbered list (maybe using similar circles and/or colors for numbers) should suffice for now...

No, search actually is case insensitive. The thing here was that the search ignored words under 4 letters (eg "tip" or "day") and as such "tip of the day" was a search that could simply not get any results, ever.
("Tip of the Day" worked because it is the name/title of the page (case sensitive, and as such does not rely on search)
I've changed that setting to 3 letters, and now it does work.

Ok I just shamelessly stole one of your official screenshots, and put it on the wiki. If asked I'll deny, though
As you'll see, imagemap support has been added. I've made areas for I think all main parts : menus, Tree, List, Catalog, AB, TB, Panel, ... Seems to work fine.

I just added a 'Infos' box to point out that it's a clickable image, as not all are, and one might not realize that it's one you can do so on, ok?
