Feature Request: XYplorer Program Icon Change

The v21 looks good. But i am afraid it's too tiny since you didn't use the full hight of the square? Maybe stretch it some more?

It has the full width and about 85% of the height. Most app icons use the full height so this is a nice way to add some distinction. As a cinema addict I prefer wide screen anyway.

#2: v19b (green plectrum)

Same here. To me v21 totally rocks. I especially like the playfulness, strong and funny at the same time. Doesn't it look great here above on the forum blue?

Yes, its growing on me. I like the simple design especially the stick-like look it has, its a combination of two backward slashes and 1 and half forward slashes. Looks great also in the forum blue.
btw, I was trying to see if it matches any of the Chinese characters, its pretty close actually.

Yes, send it to someone who knows Chinese and find out. My visual comparison did not match anything so far.

Heh, even before I came to check this thread, I knew a new icon had been born from the forum logo/favicon. I agree with everyone else, of all the proposed icons, this is the best. I'm not 100% sold on it, but I also can't find anything specific to DISlike about it

Yep, working on it. There are a couple of places... icons tend to spread.

kind of hard to see on a black taskbar (windows 7), Would also be nice to get the Y as big as the X, i find myself searching for xyplorer tab rather then being able to identify it right away.

remember XP blue taskbar is old, window 7 has an assortment of colors from pink black blue green ..etc, getting it to work with them is the best bet.

personally i dont like the new icon--i prefer the original. but for a new one, i like the styling of that one above the best--its simple and futuristic.
