Code: Select all
XYplorer Beta Club
v4.20.0041 - 13.11.05 18:16
* Browsing tabs headers: new caption shortening heuristic does much
better when there's very little space (because of too many tabs).
+ Menu Help: added command "Check for Update (Online)...". Connects
to the internet and opens a little PHP script that will tell you
whether your current version is still up-to-date or there's a
newer official release available.
Code: Select all
v4.20.0040 - 13.11.05 08:22
+ Toolbar is configurable by editing this INI key:
[General]
...
Toolbar=back,fore,up,cut,copy,paste,del,home
+ Alt+DoubleClick now opens the properties dialog for a directory or
file.
Code: Select all
v4.20.0038 - 11.11.05 11:23
+ Update to "History without duplicates":
This option makes the history work very similarly to an MRU (most
recently used) list. Differences to the normal history:
- Automatically avoids duplicates in the history.
- When your current history position is somewhere in the past and
you then surf to a new location the "previous future" is not
discarded but shifted down one position.
* A currently not available history path was silently skipped. Now
"Currently not available" is displayed.
Thank you, I like it.admin wrote:... added command "History without duplicates".
Code: Select all
v4.20.0037 - 10.11.05 20:25
+ Configuration, General: added command "History without
duplicates". Automatically avoids duplicates in the history when
you move in circles.
! Runtime error '91' when exiting while a copy/move process is still
running. Fixed.

I don't get it though. You know which tab we clicked on, since it works for filters, rename, etc so why can't you use that tab's path for the new one?
admin wrote:Command New Tab now clones the tab you right-clicked to bring up the menu. Before always the current tab was cloned.
Great, I like that Code: Select all
v4.20.0036 - 09.11.05 23:37
+ Command New Tab now clones the tab you right-clicked to bring up
the menu. Before always the current tab was cloned.
! Fixed several minor glitches conc. "Visual Filter".
admin wrote:Well, almost ... I had to go the other way and disable New Tab on unselected tabs. Internal reasons... don't take it too hard.
EDIT: but now I don't like the disabled New Tab, so everything stays as it was, and we live with a little inconsistency.
Code: Select all
v4.20.0035 - 09.11.05 19:32
* "Browse Filter" is now "Visual Filter".
+ Visual Filter: you now can state an unlimited number of wildcard
patterns separated by ";" (logically treated as OR).
Further you can use the wildcard "#" for any single digit (0-9).
+ Forgot to mention: Visual Filter pattern matching is not case-
sensitive: a=A.
+ If Visual Filter is on, the item count on the statusbar now tells
you the total number of items, and it does it in blue (or whatever
you set the Marked Color to) as a further indication that a filter
is active and effective.
Well, almost ... I had to go the other way and disable New Tab on unselected tabs. Internal reasons... don't take it too hard.jacky wrote:admin wrote:So, simply make New Tab behave like all other commands: apply to the (right-)clicked tab. Yep, it should be done.

So, simply make New Tab behave like all other commands: apply to the (right-)clicked tab. Yep, it should be done.jacky wrote:No I meant to duplicate "another" tab (not current). Instead of activating a tab and then opening a new one, when right-clicknig a tab and duplicate, then the new tab isn't at the current tab location but the tab we right-clicked on.admin wrote:Hmm, "New Tab" does effectively duplicate the current tab... or do you mean "Close all dupes"?
