Can we please avoid unnecessary posts here?

I'm running 4.20.0056. I opened the Find Files tab, with the Name & Location sub-tab selected. I hit Alt+L, thinking it would jump to the Location text box. Instead, Alt+L toggles the Name filter, for some reason. This doesn't seem like intended behavior.

Well, natural is what you are used to... ... no plans to change it.

You are using "natural" and "obvious" to mean the same thing, so your statement is obviously of redundant nature

Hmmm, sure?

no. Did some more tests, it actually seems to work, but only if the location I'm trying to go to (which has an active tab) is a subfolder, aka it won't work with drive's roots (D:\, F:\, etc).

BTW, I didn't know that but I like that a right-click on the statusbar triggers the panel, but I'd like it better if this one was actually a shortcut for show/hide panel

Other idea: use the tree area alternatively as image/video preview space. When you then hide the panel and drag the vertical splitter far to the right you have a very large preview area.

well i do believe that panel can be re-arranged vertically, since the space it uses is practically the same... maybe the exclude folders panel can be placed to the bottom of the others, it would be visible all the time...that way youll know which ones are when you perform the search.

Yes, the advantage for pics is obvious. But what about the Find Files tabs? They will be visually destroyed...

OK, I'll see how that works.

I just noticed something with the toolbar: The last icon that the mouse cursor moves over stays highlighted, even after the cursor is moved away.

Edit: Well, it did happen... Now I've closed and restarted TV3 and it's not happening... Sorry.

Shift+F12 changes the info panel from minimum to the previous dragged position.

It doesn't remember its new position though...

That was the confusing part... use Alt+F12 for the remembered position, Shift+F12 for the maximum position.
