Tip: make the NewItems folder a favorite folder, so you can easily send stuff there by "CopyTo" and recreate it directly in the next location. It's like a rebound!

Een hele mooie mogelijkheid haal ik er even extra uit. In de map waar XYplorer staat geïnstalleerd zie je een map "New Items". Alles wat je daar inzet wordt getoond in XYplorer in Menu>Edit "New Items" en wat je ook terug vindt in het contextmenu onder de rechtermuis. Voor mijn part zet je daar een gehele mappenstructuur in, als je nu binnen XYplorer een map selecteert en je kiest in dat "New Items" menu die mappen structuur, zal XYplorer die gehele structuur naar de geselecteerde map kopiëren. Heel handig voor telkens terugkerende taken. Dit werkt ook met allerlei soorten bestanden, b.v. een leeg Word document of een nieuw jpg bestand.

The mouse cursor never changes even when refreshing the tree, performing search, etc even though thoose operations make XY "unresponsive"...

hehe.. actually I meant the hourglass, you never use it. The mouse cursor never changes even when refreshing the tree, performing search, etc even though thoose operations make XY "unresponsive" (i mean we can't change directory, preview some files, etc).
But the fact that we actually got the same cursor would imply that XY should be able to do so, since it didn't say it was busy.... Usual Windows behavior you know

About F4, it would be nice if you used the hourglass cursor (or whatever you want ) while refreshing it, cause when the tree is large it can take a few sec, and it would help to see when XY is done/ready
It seems you never use it, not sure why but it's a nice thing you know

The earliest I found is Tracker 1.50 from January 1998! It's, well, different from today's version, but you will recognize some basic traits.

I assume there is no reason not to simply copy the ini file from TrackerV3 to XYplorer. That way I will get all my settings back.

With XPlorer not running, I copied the old INI file over to the new XYplorer install directory, and renamed it to XYplorer.ini. This worked fine.
