* MLS: From now on, the originals in the "[messages]" section show
the accelerators. Before, any accelerators had been removed from
the originals. This fixes an issue concerning the disambiguation
of pseudo-duplicates. It also improves the user experience with
the ITT previews.
* MLS: Updated to version 8.9. Upgrading now directly through ITT.
TRANSLATORS: This is a revision of a very early decision, so
upgrading LNG files to this new way is a bit tricky and needed a
lot of thought. Apparently it all worked out well. Nevertheless:
(As always!) Keep a backup of your current work before upgrading!
* Tabsets: Tweak TabsetsNoPaneActivation is now ON by factory
default.

Tools. You can use this text file for spell checking.

File. Downloads the latest reference file from the server
(http://www.xyplorer.com/download/Reference.lng), stores it
locally (overwriting any older Reference.lng without asking
questions) and upgrades the currently loaded language file to the
latest state.
* MLS: Updated to version 8.8. Upgrading now directly through ITT.
% ITT: Improved upgrading logic. Upgrading like the one from 8.6 to
8.7 (handling some pseudo-duplicates) now works nicely. All new
items are auto-translated based on the translations of their
pseudo-twins and colored yellow ("Mostly Translated") for manual
checking.

* Tree: In v9.40.0111 - 2010-09-04 15:18 the following has been
added:
When selecting a new folder by keyboard (= on KeyUp), there
will now be a 300 msec delay before the browsing is attempted.
This will prevent the usual hang when you meet locations that
aren't available for whatever reasons (floppies, unconnected
network locations, empty CD-drives, etc.).
Now this delay is only applied before browsing non-fixed drives
(floppy, removable, mapped, CD-ROM), and servers and shares. Not
fixed drives and normal folders. This results in a much snappier
(key driven) tree browsing experience.
! MLS: There is a small problem with pseudo-duplicate items
(homonyms in English but not necessarily homonyms in other
languages). I made an experiment to fix this in one place, and it
affects about 10 items. These items will have to be translated
again although they did not really change. Sorry for that, but
the Suggestions list in ITT will make it a single-click affair.
* MLS: Updated to version 8.7. Download update from here:

* ITT | Edit | Compare Old and New Original: Now you can edit the
translation right in the popup text box. When you OK the dialog
the edited translation is inserted into the translation field.

+ ITT | Edit: Added command "Compare Old and New Original". After
using the "Upgrade Language File" command and filtering the
"Partially Translated" items (to show only the items that have
been modified by the upgrade), this new command will help you to
spot the difference(s) between the previous and the current state
of a changed item. Sometimes only a single word changed but
without seeing or remembering the original it is hard to know
which. This command will help you with updating the translations.
* ITT: Command "Upgrade Language File" now immediately loads
"Reference.lng" and performs the upgrade, without first dumbly
asking you to locate "Reference.lng". The latter dialog is only
opened when "Reference.lng" is found found where it is expected.
* Updated the help file.
* MLS: Updated to version 8.6. Download update from here:

! Find Files: Mounting or dismounting a drive would overwrite a
currently open search results tab even if is it locked. Fixed. Now
the tab remains untouched (even if it is not locked).

* Visual Filters: Now the caption of a VF can have a short and a
long version, the former used for tab captions (where space is
scarce), the latter for menu captions (where space is abundant).
The short and the long version are separated by "|" (pipe).
This feature has been added especially to improve the appearance
of the new Powers Filters which otherwise take too much space in
the tab headers. Now they are defined e.g. as follows:
"30 Mins|Modified In The Last 30 Mins" ageM: <= 30 n
"3 Hours|Modified In The Last 3 Hours" ageM: <= 3 h
"Today|Modified Today" ageM: d
"Week|Modified This Week" ageM: w
"Year|Modified This Year" ageM: y
To update you have to clear all Power Filters in List Management.
! File Compare: Command "Compare Current File With Previous File"
would not work when the list was (auto-)refreshed right before
triggering the command because the internal "current" and
"previous" file pointers then pointed to the same file. Fixed.
! Tweak CTBNoRClickDefaultCommands did not work when the right-click
event used the load() command. Fixed.

+++ Visual Filters: Now Attributes, Size, Date, and Age filters are
supported additionally to the Name filter. The syntax is very
similar to the Color Filters syntax: The selector is prefixed to
the pattern.

As usual the filters can be inverted by a prefixed "!":

Notes:
- The date has to be given in a form that is recognized as a valid
date format on your locale. The time part can be skipped in which
case it is internally set to 00:00:00.
- The selector is not case-sensitive: Datem: would work as well.
- date:/age: default to "Date/Age Modified".
- Spaces after the selector are optional:
"ageM: d" is equivalent to "ageM:d"
- Size filters might be added later.
- FYI, already in 20070914 parts of this feature had been coded
but then got postponed for later.
+ Visual Filters: Now you can pass certain file types, e.g. image,
using the following syntax:
General: {:Type}

This spares you typing long list of extensions (*.png; *.jpg;
*.psd; ...). The following types are supported:

+++ Power Filters: The "Toggle Visual Filter" toolbar button now got
an arrow dropdown featuring a set of predefined visual filters.
These filters can be customized in List Management.
Notes:
- Since Power Filters are completely customizable their captions
are not auto-adjusted on a language switch. To force a reset to
factory defaults including a translation into the current
language simply clear all Power Filters in List Management.
- The idea and the name "Power Filters" for this great feature
comes directly from an XYplorer script by user FluxTorpedoe.

* Configuration Dialog: Reduced height to 591 pixels in order to fit
netbook screens.
* Configuration Dialog: Categories List now has 2 lines per item.
+ New variable <get trigger> returns the action that triggered a

- The <get trigger> variable is cleared after the script is
processed.

* Inline Rename in Tree and List: Now illegal characters in pasted
or typed input are replaced by the character defined in
Configuration | Templates | Character to replace invalid characters
in dropped messages. If no character is defined then "·" (mid dot)
is used.

* Find Files | Excluded: Now you can define not only excluded
locations (WHERE) but also excluded name patterns (WHAT). These
will be typically files, therefore the patterns are marked by the
prefix "file:" (use the new checkbox "File" to toggle this
prefix); however, such a pattern will just as well exclude a
matching folder from the search results (as found item, not as
searched location!).
Note that the "file:" patterns are matched with the item name
only, not with the whole path, so they should not contain any path
components:
file:Lucky -> will match all items with name *Lucky*
file:C:\Lucky -> will match nothing since "\" cannot be in a name
+ ITT: The progress bar now colorfully reflects the overall
translation state (red, yellow, green).
+ Configuration | Color Filters: Added option "Enable color filters"
whichs allows to control all color filters in one setting.
* Toolbar | Enable Color Filters: This button now controls the
setting of "Enable color filters" (as should be expected). Before,
it controlled the setting of Configuration | Color Filters | Apply
all checked patterns to the List.

* Factory Default Setup: A couple of modifications to show more of
what you get with this app. E.g. if your screen is big enough the
app will now start in Dual Pane mode by default, show a couple
of predefined tabs, and have some predefined Color Filters active.
! Drag and drop to other apps did not work anymore since
v11.80.0102. Fixed.
