Change Log for the latest
XYplorer BETA version:
Code: Select all
v20.00.0006 - 2019-05-26 11:43
+ Configuration | Colors and Styles | Highlights & Dark Mode: Added section
"Recent location pins". Here you can customize the color of the pins.
Note that color #000000 (pitch black) counts as "use default" and will be
reset to the default color #E956B6 on next start.
+ Configuration | Colors and Styles | Highlights & Dark Mode | Recent
location pins: Added option "Match color with tree path tracing". Tick to
match the pins color to the current Tree Path Tracing color.
+ Configuration | Colors and Styles | Highlights & Dark Mode | Recent
location pins: Added dropdown "Maximum number of pins". Here you can
define the maximum number of pins to be shown in the tree.
Note that the actually shown number depends on the number of stored recent
locations and how of them are currently visible in the tree.
* Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Safety | Usability | Wheel scroll
lines: Now you can specify the number of lines used for thumbs and tiles
views. Simply append it to the current number, separated by ; (semicolon).
The default value for the second number is 1.
Examples:
0 system value for all, but 1 for thumbs/tiles
3 3 for all, but 1 for thumbs/tiles
0;0 system value for all
5;2 5 for all, but 2 for thumbs/tiles
5;0 5 for all, but system value for thumbs/tiles
* Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Safety | Usability: Renamed "Wheel
scroll lines (0 = use system value)" to "Wheel scroll lines". Now you can
simply leave it empty to use the system default.
! Icons not correctly centered in large thumbnails views. Fixed.
+ Re-added tweak ShellIncludeSpecialFolders (originally added v15.00.0106 -
2015-03-15 19:41, then removed v15.00.0109 - 2015-03-16 11:10).
Set it to 1 to widen the range of "Configuration | Other | Shell
Integration | Default File Manager | XYplorer in shell context menu" and
"XYplorer is default file manager":
ShellIncludeSpecialFolders=1
Technically, if ShellIncludeSpecialFolders=1 then XYplorer is registered
in the "Folder" branch (in Windows registry), otherwise XYplorer is
registered in the "Directory" branch and the "Drive" branch.
NOTE: If you want to try this tweak you should first disable XYplorer's
shell integration. So you do it in this order:
1) Untick "XYplorer is default file manager" and "XYplorer in shell context menu".
2) Turn ON or OFF the tweak.
3) Retick "XYplorer is default file manager" and "XYplorer in shell context menu".

Note that BETA versions are work in progress and might contain fresh bugs. You have been warned.

before running a new BETA version. This will also help in fixing any fresh bugs.
