Ctrl+Del
Did you know that Ctrl+Del pressed in Edit boxes does delete everything to the right of the insertion point? I discovered this today by chance, and I guess it has been in Windows since day 1 and I never was aware of it.

Re: Ctrl+Del
hmm that's a nice trick, I didn't know that! But I just realized that Ctrl+Backspace (which is common for removing the previous "word") now actually works on Go to window!!admin wrote:Did you know that Ctrl+Del pressed in Edit boxes does delete everything to the right of the insertion point? Seems it's been added with the autocomplete file/path name feature; as it works also on the Move/Copy/Backup To windows aswell. And BTW, we can activate this for AB & Goto, why not the FF/Location aswell ? (I mean add it as an option, as one could like the MRU best obviously)

Ctrl+Backspace for removing the previous "word"... nice trick, too! Did not know.
But a complete mystery (web recherche fruitless) that it does not work and instead brings up this "" (ASCII127) .
Also a mystery why it works when path completion is ON.
