Video Editors

Post by eil »

for a long time i am looking for light and multi-format video-editor. it's easy to find converter, but quite difficult to find one with on-the-fly cutting. plus after VirtualDub i can't imaging cutting without frame-step.
mainly i work with mp4, flv, avi -any ideas please?

For cutting only, use FFMpeg - freeware (I wrote a script to assist, see my signature).
For cut and join, use Boilsoft Video splitter & Boilsoft Video joiner (not free).
I'm a casual coder using AHK language. All of my xys scripts:

Perhaps Avidemux

Home

Portable version

Please note that video sound is disabled by default. Turn it on by going to Edit => Preferences => Audio tab and set AudioDevice to Win32.
Kind regards
