Oh no! 8.39 lng has thousands of items to translate!
You changed their Numbers but the sentences are not changed!
Do I have to retranslate them all?

View > Folder View Settings > Manage Folder Views > Doubleclick on entry to get the dialog...

List style checkbox label - please extend the width to the right to the full extent possible

Thank you Don and sorry for abusing this thread for this GUI detail.

Are we internally at 8.40 already? I see no bold face lines in the language download list today.

Usually this is announced in the log (if I am not wrong here), with a note to translators to wait until the new reference file gets available.

Sure, it was noted here: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic. ... 120#p96120

It was necessary so soon because I added a main menu item ("Toggle Quick Name Search") -- when this happens I MUST increase the version number else the translating machine gets confused.

8.42 is out but according to ITT about 50% of translation needs to be redone?

Most of the changes I can see is for spaces before phrases but it is still bothersome.
Is it intended or bug?

Hmm... indeed.

Well, 8.42 isn't "released" yet.
