Re: Configuration Settings Questions
The configuration part of the documentation is a little confusing. From my POV once past the configuration part of the documentation the confusion eases up, until I reach that point, I would be grateful if someone could help me when I have a question, I'll keep it to this thread and emphasize when it's a new question. Since there are a few who know the configuration for XY very well, I'm specifically directing this message to them

It would help if you asked more pointed questions, otherwise we're all left to guess what it is you don't understand from the help.CookieMonster wrote:What is remember state of tree ?

I read the help for "remember state of tree" and I'm not really sure how to make it any more clear. If enabled it remembers which tree nodes are expanded so that you can see its sub-folders and which are collapsed.
I don't believe show localized folder names does anything for English Windows... based on the fact that it says... "Tick it to show special display names (that differ from the real path name) for certain tree folders in non-English windows."
Custom Items in shell context menu adds the menu items selected in the dialogs you get when clicking Folder Tree and File List to the menu that is shown when you right-click the respective items.
Check existence of sub-folders in trees... if you have this checked then when a folder is first shown in the tree then XY checks to see if it contains any folders before displaying the +/- in front of it. If you have it disabled XY just assumes there are subfolders and automatically displays the +/- even if there are none.
