XYplorer Beta Club
Hello, I don't think this is a bug with XYplorer itself but it is involved and I thought I'd post to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.
I have XYplorer installed on a machine that I sometimes use via Remote Desktop.
While I'm the machine via RD I have no problems.
When I use the machine directly after using it via RD, after a few minutes while I'm using XYplorer (not any other program) the machine will suddenly freeze - no mouse cursor movement, num lock on keyboard no longer toggles the light, Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't work, can't remote desktop to the machine. The only way to get it to do anything is to turn it off by holding down the power button. I've left it for an hour or two in the past before turning it off to see if it's a slow networking type delay.
My suspicions are that it's something to do with the graphics driver or graphics card because it doesn't do it when using remote desktop. I've tried updating to the latest (stable) AMD/ATI drivers but that hasn't helped. The machine is a Dell Optiplex
If anyone has any interesting ideas on what I can try or investigate I'd be grateful.
