Closing Tabs

Post by rod147 »

On IE7, you can click an 'X' on the right hand side of the tab to close it. Any chance of implementing this on XY too?
Thanks.

Just a tip: you can middle click on a Tab to close it! As easy/quick and no space wasted with an 'X' ;)

I've configured my middle button to 'Minimise Window' so that tip dosn't work. :(

There's a toolbar button for closing the current tab.

Or ^W or ^F4...

Personally, I hate the way Firefox 2 and IE7 have added an X to every tab, it's just too easy to click when you meant to change to the tab, and it takes up a hell of a lot of space when you have many tabs open.
