If option "Show folders apart" is active, all folders are always shown together. When sorting order is usual, all folders are shown at the top of the list. But when sorting is inversed (by any parameter), all folders are shown below under all other files.
I don's sure, may be it is not a bug, but a feature. However I doubt, is this feature is useful. The most file managers, i.e. Windows Explorer, shows folders at the top, so any experienced user gets a habit to see folders at the top of the list in any case.

2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

It's indeed a feature! I'm aware that most file managers handle this differently, but deliberately, like Sinatra, I did it my way.Leopoldus wrote:I don's sure, may be it is not a bug, but a feature.
Don't you think it's better like this?
EDIT: just checked Explorer (WinXP), and it behaves just like TrackerV3 (which was not the case under Win95).

Yes, you are right! I'm not a great user of Windows Explorer, that's the reason of my mistake.admin wrote:just checked Explorer (WinXP), and it behaves just like TrackerV3.
However my opinion is the same. May be you could add a sub-option for option "Show folders together", so every user can choose what he whants?
And may be use a horizonatl line to separate folders section from files one? In case if custom icons are used for all or some folders, it is not so obvious for the glance where folders section finishes/begins.

Sorry, but both ideas are too difficult to implement. Not worth the pain in my opinion.Leopoldus wrote:May be you could add a sub-option for option "Show folders together", so every user can choose what he whants?
