delay when browsing with tree focus

could we please have an option or a tweak to disable the delay when switching folders when the focus is on the tree,it's so annoying, especially when i browse the list and switch focus to the tree and my browsing is slowed down, i just like my browsing to be as fast as possible and this delay is just unnecessary
