File size column not right justified in report to file?

Post by j_c_hallgren »

Bug or wish? :?
Haven't used the report function for a LONG time...anyway, for options, I used the "Pad Blanks" on Current list with size column set as rounded up...
The output file has the size column left-justified which makes reading/using it a tad hard, especially with a wide variety of sizes, from 1KB to 9,123KB...would it be possible to somehow make this right-justified?

yeah.. bug or wish we'll let Don decide ;)
I use reports with my own separators (HTML stuff) so it never bothered me actually, but what I know is you'll get sizes right-justified if you do a Classic Directory Dump. It's not really the same and you might not get all the data you're looking for, plus you can't do it on the selected items only (its a Current Folder report), but just thought I'd mention it anyways ;)

Oh, I see that I forgot to say that the report was from results of a specific search and as I understand it, Dir Dump is only for a folder...
In this case, I just wanted a simple listing that I could use for some future work directly...I suppose I maybe could have used other separators and then run it thru Excel or whatever and then printed from that, but didn't.
