:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

"My Documents" shown in address bar

Post by pissant »

XYplorer 5.10.0020
WinXP Pro SP2

Sorry if this isn't a bug but is intentional behavior.

I have "My Documents" in WinXP pointing to "D:\Data". If I have a tab opened to (for example) "D:\Data\Media\Movies\" when I shut down XYplorer, then the next time I run it, the address bar displays "My Documents\Media\Movies\" instead.

This works for XYplorer's internal purposes, but since I often use the address bar to copy from (to paste elsewhere), it can be a pain...

It's intentional but I always asked myself whether it's good. Yours is the first feedback I ever got on this. Thanks: I removed it. :)

Same story. It's just those two.
