scritp to remove invalid favorite links

hello all, i need a small script to remove the invalid favorite links?
is it possible? i don't want to go and manually delete all the invalid links.

Not 100% sure what you mean by "favorite links" as I've seen that term used for various purposes...can you clarify?

in xyplorer, we can make some folders as favorite by pressing control and b buttons together. now if i delete these favorite folders/change the name of folders physically, invalid favorite links still exist in the favorites folder list. i want to remove them using script.

Do you have so many of them that removing them via "List management" dialogs where they appear with special icons isn't practical? Just wondering why a script is needed...not saying it's not worthwhile, but sometimes folks have asked for scripts that can be done almost as easily manually...plus you run the risk of deleting favorites that are still valid but only for removable devices when mounted if using a script.

Apart from that, you can just open the XYplorer.ini file, go to the [Favorites] section and delete all entries you don't need. Change the Count value afterwards.

editing xyplorer.ini file has helpmed me a lot. thanks for your guidance.
