
For me, if I hit the delete button, I intend to delete it, and this would save me from hitting the spacebar or Enter key to confirm. If I change my mind, I can always play fetch from the Recycle Bin.

yea, I wouldn't want that. I regulary use del and shift-del, but I wouldn't want shift-del to work without confirmation, you can seriously screw things up like that with a bit of hastynessj_c_hallgren wrote:And as XY allows you to skip it on Shift+Del, which makes it better than doing it via Recycle options...for those who live on the edge!
