Select first item after changing folder

Hello,

is there any way to have first item in folder selected automatically? Now i have to press spacebar every time before pressing enter to go inside.

I have a lot of folders containing only one children folder so it would be easier just to press enter than space + enter

Somebody might work out a script for you that will go down into the first subfolder from here...

That is a welcome feature which i miss too.

But note that you can also just press Left or Right Arrow-key too to select an item
which is more handy then pressing the space bar.

You could use ctrl+Enter by default if first item in your folder is focused (which is mostly the case, unless you changed the focus manually)

I think it would be a nice feature to be able to specify in settings if you want the first file when entering a folder to be focused, or selected.

Something called CEA (Custom Event Actions) is planned where you could assign a script to the "FolderOpened" event. But I cannot give a date.

Much, much needed. Pressing left/right arrow keys is bothersome when it comes to check nearly 200 folders per batch...
