Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Info Panel blanking out
Hi all,
If I change something, say a date or an attribute, in the Properties tab of the Info Panel, the contents of the Info Panel blanks out after I click the green plus sign or press the enter key. However, the Info Panel’s content remains if I cancel a change.
Is this a bug or by design or am I nitpicking?
Cheers

You don't even have to actually change anything, just click on the attribute or date and then the green "+" icon.
Also, I also noticed something else that may or may not be related (please bear with me): I select an executable and properties tab is populated. I run the executable (press enter or double click) and it completes ok. When the executable completes, the properties tab on the Info Panel again disappears with the executable still selected in the file list.
Now, this particular executable changes another file in the same folder. Maybe focus is being lost internally?
I hope this helps!

That helped: it's "autosize columns" once again! I should have thought of this other usual suspect...JohnM wrote:I have just sent to support@xyplorer.com...

While you are mentioning it: what bugs me in Autosize columns is that the name column sometimes gets so wide that other columns are shifted out of view. I'm thinking about another feature: "Autofit columns (now)" which would ensure all columns are visible through proportional shrinking resp. stretching, know what I mean?JohnM wrote:I'm glad it helped.
Autosize columns is one of the my favourite features...along with visual filters, selection filters, tabs, speed, low memory usage, and I could go on and on![]()
