I find the possibility of "Disallow left-dragging from tree and list" (Tools|Configuration|Extended) very useful.
BUT it would be desirable to have right-dragging from tree and list by means of additional (respectively Ctrl, Shift, Ctrl+Shift) key and not to select from the context menu (respectively "Move Here, Copy Here, BackUp Here").
Such a deliberate moving by additional key while holding down the right mouse button is also very safe, and does not not require superfluous action.
I see so far that this combination is free, and I would like to have it in the factory default.
Couldn't you make it?
Or to prompt as it to make?

Re: Deliberate right-dragging from tree and list
What about allowing left-dragging when CTRL or SHIFT are down even when "Disallow left-dragging from tree and list" is ticked?

Re: Deliberate right-dragging from tree and list
IT too is quite good, but less safely and there is no the full confidence that it won't hinder other programs.
Other programs often use Left-click in a combination with Ctrl.
Besides it is the general rule for text selection, and in XY plorer - for selection of rows in the file-pane.
It is necessary to check as will work.
If you are assured - then certainly YES.
Edit:
And besides, right click is more logical because: "Disallow left-dragging from tree and list"
But of course Yes if you are assure that it will nothing interfere.

Well, I will postpone it to later. Currently working on XYcopy...DmFedorov wrote:IT too is quite good, but less safely and there is no the full confidence that it won't hinder other programs.
