How about "check for newer copy of XYplorer"?

Let's say I open up XYplorer and want to see if there's a new beta for the day. How about being able to click a button that checks the server to see if there's a new version? Just a thought.

This has been asked for more than once before but one main problem is that beta's for a given release all share the same name so there's nothing in that name to identify contents and Don has said (I think) that keeping a separate "Curr beta=x.xx.xxxx" type file for checking would be more work for him...
