I have some search templates setup mapped that search through a bunch of shortcuts to other folders. When I run it this morning it is returning the shortcut folders as well as the data below it.
ie:
name: *.safe; *.bak; *.dmp; *.dat; *.tar
location: My Documents\Backup_Checks\Thursday\
include subfolders: checked
follow folder links: checked
name filter: checked
date filter: checked
date: not modified in last 2 days
Previously it did not return the shortcut link but today I have a bunch of the following returned in the results:
DAL-SQL16 Thursday.lnk
DAL-SQL09 Thursday.lnk
DAL-OBIDB04 Thursday.lnk
etcetc
I don't know if this is a bug or intended change? It is showing a backup file that is out of date so I think the search is still following the links correctly.
