I also strongly support a Firefox / Visual Studio like pop-up menu with a list of tabs. It's quite cumbersome to work between two different folders if you have a lot of other folders open, as you have to ctrl+tab a lot between the tabs.

If you can make it work just like in FF/VS, I'd be very happy.

Right-click the empty space on the right end of the tab bar...

In configuration / tabs you can reserve some at the right end of the tab bar...

Many thanks for XY and for new features, like this one, you continue to add!

I may be missed something, but I cann't figure out how to activate the "standard" ctrl+tab behaviors as tedy called it, and as CrouZ described here https://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic ... 806#p35806 .
Whith the "Cycle tabs in recently used order" checkbox unchecked, pressing ctrl+tab activates a tab to the right at each tab press (holding ctrl)
Whith the "Cycle tabs in recently used order" checkbox checked, ctrl+tab switches tabs in some unexpected order: e.g. let's say I've visited tab1, then moved to tab2, then pressed ctrl+tab. I expect tab1 to be activated, but tab11 is activated instead. When ctrl+tab is pressed again, tab5 is activated instead of tab2, etc.

Is it possible for ctrl+tab to behave as it is implemented in Firefox with "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" activated or as alt+tab in Windows?

Don't worry. All there is to be done (and has been done over here in the lab) is to add MRU update when releasing the keys so that Ctrl+Tab* / release keys / Ctrl+Tab will jump between the last 2 tabs.

This MRU update on key release will be implemented for these functions below, which point to other default KS. So everybody who wants Ctrl+Tab for the desired MRU behavior has to reassign their shortcuts in the next beta version, and that's all !

default KS = Ctrl+PageUp, set it to Ctrl+Tab
