Find Files in current tab

Post by ReviewPilot »

Hi,

When I Search for files , and have the settings set to "current tab":

If I search, change tab, and then switch back to the "search" tab, the path display (above the tab) gets not updated (to the folder I have searched in) and still displays the last visited tab's path..
Even worse, if I press F5 to update the tab to "view all" again (which is a neat featuree to clean up the search result), it then changes the tab's content to the tab visited inbetween..

hope it is understandable.. :?

There is indeed a bug.

However, I did not understand this part:

Well, what's the space called above the tabs, which displays the paths? I mean where I enter the location..
I got it. It's "Address Bar", isn't it?

OK, the Address Bar is not necessarily in sync with the searched location.

The other issue could be fixed.

hmm, let me explain what I mean with the Address bar:

-When I select a tab (tab1), it's path will be displayed in the Address Bar.

-If I search (find files) on that tab(tab1), the search results get displayed in the list. The Address Bar Path stays the same (as it is still the same folder where the search took place)

- Now, choosing another tab(tab2), the address bar will change to display that folder path.

-Switching back to the previous tab(tab1), now, won't display the path from that initial tab(tab1) - instead still displaying the path from the other tab(tab2) (but it should display the path of the initial tab(tab1), as the search took place in exactly the folder location the tab(tab1) showed before...)

Hope you got my issue.. 8)
