Slow startup

I have a very fast machine. XYPlorer operates generally very fast. But for one point: startup. XYPlorer takes maybe 20 seconds to start. I have the feeling that XYPlorer scans all my favourites
folters or something like that. Is there a way to have XYPlrer scan folders only when necessary? Any other hint?
