should renaming feature be soon implemented?
btw.. has it ever been considered the preview panel position to be changed?.... say..to the right maybe? cause when you are previewin html and other type of docs, you need large view, but also keep the list viewable..
just a thought..

Actually, I'd really like it better with another one. Reason is I usually hide the panel, to get more space for the tree&list. And when i need it, I just hit F12.Leopoldus wrote:Why another? It could be the same button with three-steps-circling algorythm.jacky wrote:Another toolbar' icon I'd like to see: Maximize/Minimize panel (Shift+F12)
But my panel is always "minimized", again to get the most space I can for the tree&list. Besides I got all I need for searching, timestamp, etc
But, for the preview, a bigger panel is very welcome, and then I use the panel "maximized", which means in the tree&list i only have like 4 or 5 rows, can't really do nothing then but i don't care, I'm in "preview mode"
So a button to just max/minthe panel, but keeping it always visible, would be much better to me
(it's just like Shift+F12, but having this as a tb'button would make things better/faster, for me)

Just a thought, about the Maximize icon. Right now if the panel is hidden it doesnt do anythiing, why not making it showing the panel in that case ?
Re: Here's the new BETA
Yep, that would be nice.jacky wrote:Just a thought, about the Maximize icon. Right now if the panel is hidden it doesnt do anythiing, why not making it showing the panel in that case ?

Re: Here's the new BETA
Yeah, of course.jacky wrote:Just a thought, about the Maximize icon. Right now if the panel is hidden it doesnt do anythiing, why not making it showing the panel in that case ?
BTW; wouldn't be "Size Info Panel" a better term, since it does not necessarily maximize the panel but sizes it to the last user-defined size. Or what's better english? "Enlarge/Shrink..."? grow/shrink??...
I'm sorry but... I'm not sure what you guys are talking about? What would Alt+F12 do? What gets max/min with a dbl-click?admin wrote:Pssssssst. Okay, I add Alt+F12 as a hidden and non-documented feature. Which means I can always take it away when I find a better use for it.Gandolf wrote:Double click does Minimise / Maximise - don't know what you think about adding a key for that (Alt+F12??). It's probably been discussed before.
BTW, I didn't know that but I like that a right-click on the statusbar triggers the panel, but I'd like it better if this one was actually a shortcut for show/hide panel
Isn't that the same as SHIFT-F12 does now?admin wrote:Pssssssst. Okay, I add Alt+F12 as a hidden and non-documented feature. Software: should we be aware because it's soft ? I like to think not !
