How do you search the forum for a whole phrase like "Favorite Files"? All I can achieve is a search for "Favorite" AND "Files".

Not sure about that but I have had problems with some common words that are ignored by search and thus I get results that are not as discrete as I wish...had a case yesterday (can't recall details) that did this and I got dozens of 'false positives' as only one term was used.

Right, the "Files" part was ignored (because too common, I assume).
But "Favorite Folders" is not possible either although no part is ignored. So it looks like phrase search is not supported at all.

I'm not sure about the whole phrase search. But about the common words question, there is a "Common word threshold" setting in phpBB administration control panel
