Hello,
I am test driving the Xyplorer, and have a question.
I work with many RAR files, and the feature I use at the explorer is, right click and drag rar files to another folder and as I release the mouse, it gives me a context menu of options (like extract here and such).
I found out, to do this in XYplorer I need to select shell context menu from the list that comes up when I do that operation. Which adds another mouse move and clicking to a simple operation.
So, the question is, is there a way to include that shell context menu inside that list that comes up?
Thanks a lot

Re: Right click and drag context menu
Hello bolkar,
You can not include the standard items to the custom items but you can deactivate the custom menu so that you get to the standard menu directly (just like in Explorer): Open "Tools | Configuration | Advanced" -> Uncheck "Custom drag'n'drop context menu".

Thanks Pagat,
I really appreciate it. This resolves my frustration.

Re: Right click and drag context menu
While this solves one issue, it creates another, which is then the lack of XY custom items which add desirable features, right? So maybe there needs to be another way to handle this situation...could the std shell items be optionally included directly in the custom menu (makes it quite long maybe) or could there be a reverse of the menus so that XY custom is avail via a item in the "std" menu?Pagat wrote:You can not include the standard items to the custom items but you can deactivate the custom menu so that you get to the standard menu directly
This might require a REG mod but that may possibly be acceptable to gain the ability, if there isn't another better way...
I think I've seen this type of query more than once recently so it may be an area to be explored for enhancement, or at minimum, an entry in the wiki FAQ.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
