So this was also v4.00.0193??? This would mean I can undo the fix, because you have been the only one reporting disappearing tabs in "v4.00.0196"...sklain wrote:By the way, I've just downloaded and installed verson v4.00.0196 but the tabs still keep disappearing.admin wrote:tabs all disappear: this should be fixed with the latest upload (v4.00.0196).

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

I think you missed my message of 5:45 AM, which corrected my previous message of 5:39 to which you're evidently referring:
Uh oh, my face is red. Please ignore my previous message. I had downloaded the latest beta but forgot to extract the installation file, thereby reinstalling the older, previously extracted beta. Version 4.20.0005 fixed both the column-setting and disappearing tab bugs. Great! Fast work -- many thanks and sorry for the confusion.

If this is any help:I will experimentally revive the code the lead to tab-disappearance and we'll see what happens...
The Tab Disappearing Act occurred under either of the following two circumstances: (1) a partial window of another program was activated, and (2) a full-screen window of another program was activated. Your first beta correction fixed problem #1 (but not #2) and a follow-up beta corrected #2.
